Special Digest: Recent Presidential Pardons and Commutations
Acts of Presidential Clemency granted between 5/27 and 5/29
Hello Readers,
Today’s special digest is a list of recent acts of presidential clemency granted by President Trump, along with names, crimes committed, original sentences, background information, and the specifics of their clemency. These are both commutations, or a reduction in sentence, and pardons, or the full release of legal consequences from a conviction, and all took place between 5/27 and 5/29.
Our weekly digest on the actions of Congress, the Courts, and the Judicial Branch will still be released this weekend.
