The Capitol Hill Reader: Volume 21
A weekly government digest covering the actions of Congress, the courts, and the Office of the President
The cutoff for the digest is Friday, March 28th.
A lot happened this past week and we have a lot to say about it. For this reason, we have just covered the Office of the President and Congress for this week’s digest.
In the meantime, check out high quality, constant updates of the federal court system at Chris Geidner’s page, Law Dork. Chris writes excellent, thorough content.
Below, we have outlined executive orders taking aim at many federal workers’ right to collectively bargain, how history is being portrayed in Smithsonian Museums and beyond, how states conduct their elections, and much, much more. In Congress, we have the Senate approving higher overdraft fees and the House passing quite a few pieces of legislation surrounding federal research grants (not all negative, interestingly).
